Touch of Nature Sympathy
Good afternoon, this is the other sympathy card I had to make,I love this Touch of Nature set it has that tranquil quality about it......perfect for these sort of cards. There is always some sadness while making these cards, but the fact that the recipient will appreciate them makes it all worthwhile.Well a short post today as I must go to the gym and then start my Creatalicious DT card, and after that I will be starting the Journals I will be altering for my daughters friends for Christmas.I had to purchase all the Cullen family images, from The Greeting Farm to do these journals......the girls are crazy about Twilight.

Verve and Mojo Monday
Hi there,I am sorry for not visiting much over the last week,I have been so busy and pretty much only getting 5 hours sleep a night and by last night I was exhausted. This week I had to finish the last 20 of the 50 christmas cards I had to make, I did not get to them until Wednesday and I completed them on Friday, and here is the picture of all 50 of them.I delivered them to my friend in Wollongong yesterday,we left at 9.00am and returned home at 5.30pm,a fun but exhausting day.I also had the two get well cards to complete, one of them is the post before this one and I said I would show you the other one, well I can't find the photo. So I think I have forgotten to take one as I was in such a rush to complete them.I also made a Wedding card that had to be given to another friend on Friday and there was a rush with this as well, the wedding was on Saturday,so I don't have a photo for that either.I hope all that made sense....lol....

I now have to do 2 sympathy cards, well as we all know these are such sad cards to do,but they do have to be done. This is the first one and I decided to use the Mojo monday sketch,I wanted a simple and elegant card and Verve stamps always make elegant cards. This didn't take long,as there was not much colouring.I have flipped the sketch to the side,so it worked with my image and instead of a star I used a sentiment.I also added the blue panel towards the end,as I felt like it needed a little bit more of the blue.Well, off to do the other sympathy card and tonight well be dedicated to blog hopping, thanks for visiting. Edit, and you know what I just did,put this post on our challenge blog.....lol.......just had to fix it up.

Sweet Little Pixie's
Good morning to you all, this card was made for a very sick teenage girl and the only request was to use a Pixie Chicks image........and you can see why, they are just gorgeous.I am in the process of doing another Pixie Chicks card for another lady who is also sick,I will show you that one tomorrow. The gorgeous cherry pie paper in the background is part of Bizzy Becs new range of digi papers,I couldn't wait to use this pretty paper and the best thing is I can just keep printing it again and again. The papers are 6x6 and perfect for cardmakers,Bec is also in the process of setting up a Digi only store so when that is up and running,I will pop a link on my blog.Bec has also made some cards with these gorgeous papers and you can see them here.Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.

I Finally Got to do a Challenge........
Good morning, this card was made for a brother to give his sister on her 18th birthday and I thought this Mo's Digital Pencil image was perfect. After deciding on the image I popped over to Mo's Challenge Blog to see what the challenge was and perfect,it was to make a fancy fold card anything but your standard card. I have been wanting to make one of these easel cards I have been seeing on blogs and they are so easy.I also chose to do blue and yellow so it was still girly enough but not too girly for a boy to give his sister, does that make sense.....lol......If you want to make one of these cards you can get the tutorial here.I must go,I need to finish 25 cards by the end of the week and also fit in some blog hopping.Have a great week.

Halloween Birthday Party
Hi there,I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.I am,but it is a bit hectic. My daughter is at her friends Halloween Birthday Party and this is the costume we made.I said in the last post she was going to be a Dryad, which in Greek mythology is a tree spirit and this is what we came up with. This dress was white and I dyed it a cocoa brown. The leaves were cut with my Spellbinder Assorted leaves, and then stitched onto the dress.I had to show my daughter how to stitch them on and she stitched them all and did a fabulous job.The head piece was a fairy tiara,I cut all the feathers off and glued eveything to it.You can't see,but we have also tied a few pieces of metallic gold ribbon to the back, which falls nicely over her hair.

You have seen the card, but the box is what I made to put the present in.This is such a fabulous box and I know these will be my favourite box to make and so very easy too.I first saw this box on Jackie's blog and so glad I did, just in time to use it for the present, thanks Jackie. If you want to make this box you can find the tutorial here.Well, enjoy your weekend.
